With
nearly two-thirds the world’s planned 300mm manufacturing
in Asia, along with rapidly growing LCD and LED production,
Praxair Electronics continues to expand
our investment and resources throughout
the region.
Korea
Praxair Electronics is one of the largest bulk gas suppliers
to semiconductor manufacturers in Korea. Through innovative design
and operational discipline, Praxair meets the stringent purity
and reliability of
the semiconductor industry. To ensure a more reliable and cost-effective distribution of
process gases to semiconductor manufacturers in Korea, Praxair
Electronics has established local transfilling of various process
gases and mixtures. We also offer nitrogen trifluoride (NF3),
produced in Ulsan, Korea. Bulk process gas systems are offered
for high-volume process gases such as NF3, SiH4 and NH3.
Praxair Electronics manufactures sputtering targets
in Ch’onan, Korea to supply the Asia market. Our facility
in Ch’onan operates with ISO/TS 16949
and ISO 14001 certification, and produces targets
to the same materials specifications as targets produced by Praxair
in its Orangeburg, New York
and Toulouse, France facilities.
Taiwan
Praxair Electronics provides a full line
of sputtering targets, semiconductor process gases, systems,
and services including: silicon precursors, dopants, etchants,
reactants, mixtures and inerts, and total gas management services
and delivery systems. As a key supplier to the local IC, LCD,
and LED manufacturers, Praxair Electronics has the local expertise
in Taiwan to assist customers in maxi
mizing the value of our specialty gases and
sputtering targets.
Praxair Electronics installed the first silane transfill
in Taiwan. Located in Toufen, this facility features state-of-the-art
automation and has the capability to supply silane in cylinder,
tonner, and module package configurations. As an ISO 9001 certified
facility, Praxair Electronics operates the facility to provide
a consistent, reliable, and safe supply of gases to semiconductor
manufacturers.
China
As the number one global industrial gas
company in China, Praxair has the local expertise and infrastructure
to support existing semiconductor manufacturers as well as semiconductor
manufacturers looking to build their first facility in China.
Praxair Electronics offers our full portfolio of products in
China from bulk and process gases to sputter targets and CMP
pads and slurries. Praxair Electronics supplies bulk gas to China’s
first 200mm wafer fab and is currently constructing a new state-of-the-art
production plant to supply China’s first 300mm wafer fab.
Praxair has a large, well-established team in China, including
several Ph.D.s, to provide highly technical local support for
our customers.
